PS Furniture, Inc. based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and American Seating based in Grand Rapids, Michigan, are pleased to announce the purchase/sale of the Acton and NIMA seating lines previously marketed by the Office Products Group of American Seating.

The Acton seating line is an American classic, created by award-winning designer Hugh Acton, and is renowned for its distinctive ergonomically sculpted seat. NIMA is the creation of iconic designer Giancarlo Piretti, featuring his patented articulating-back mechanism wrapped in an elegant and versatile line of seating products.

American Seating, founded in 1886, is itself a classic. The company got its start making furniture and then expanded into transportation seating in the 1930s. American Seating today focuses on the transportation seating market.
